According to a report from Anime News Network, Attack on Titan Season 2 will premiere in the spring of 2017.
The hit anime television series Attack on Titan has a gained a global following since it first aired in 2013. With only one season, consisting of 25 episodes, Attack on Titan novels, video games and merchandise litter North America stores; a feat seldom achieved by a Japanese animation title. The series even spawned two feature-length live-action films that hit theaters last year.
A second season was originally announced in November 2014 and was supposed to premiere in 2016. After some delays, the staff announced at the “Shingeki Matsuri” event on Sunday that spring 2017 is the new date.

Attack on Titan is an anime series based on the manga by Hajime Isayama. Humanity has retreated inside cities surrounded by enormous walls due to the threat of giant humanoid creatures that devour humans. These monstrosities are known as Titans.
