It seems as though Fox has turned to the geek side for next year’s fall/spring lineup, and we love it. Check out the series trailers below for Minority Report, Lucifer and Frankenstein Code.
Minority Report takes place approximately 10 years after the events of the 2002 film, where the PreCrime (a system of predicting murders before they happen) division has been dismantled and the Precogs (those who predicted said murders) themselves have been released. One of the Precogs, Dash (Stark Sands), is still haunted by his violent visions and urns to help the victims before they are killed. He offers his unique “skills” to the police in an effort to save them. Accompanying Sands are Meagan Good (Californication) and Wilmur Valderrama (That 70’s Show).
Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) follows THE bored and unhappy Devil as he decides to leave his kingdom of Hell for the smaug and plastic of Los Angeles. A series of unfortunate events cause Lucifer to lend his uncanny ability to seek people’s inner truth to Chloe Dancer (Lauren German), an LAPD homicide detective. Accompanying Ellis and German are Lesley-Ann Brandt (Spartacus) as Lucifer’s best friend Maze, a demon who takes the form of a human woman, Nicholas Gonzalez (Sleepy Hollow), an LAPD homicide detective wary of Lucifer and D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, an angel sent by God to persuade Lucifer to return to hell.
The Frankenstein Code follows the journey of Jimmy Pritchard (Rob Kazinsky), a 75-year old, former LA County Sheriff who has been forced to retire from the force. Pritchard is murdered during a robbery at his son’s home but brought back to life as a 35-year old cop with superhuman abilities. Kazinsky is joined by Dilshad Vadsaria (Revenge) and Adhir Kalyan (Rules of Engagement) as the tech-genious twins Mary and Otto Goodwin, who bring Pritchard back to life.
